Edition 2025 — Faites Lire
The 2025 edition of Faites Lire! was held from September 29 to October 5 in Le Mans. The book fair on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 welcomed over 200 authors on the Rue du Livre, between Place de la République and Esplanade des Jacobins. Among the guests of honor: Mathias Malzieu, Lily Bay, Nathalie Mauclair, and Mathou.

2025 Edition — September 29 to October 5
Faites Lire! 2025 transformed the city center of Le Mans into a huge literary village for a week. The cultural program — readings aloud, writing workshops, shows, exhibitions — animated bookstores, museums, and libraries from Monday to Friday, before the grand Book Fair on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5.
Guest Authors
Among the guests of honor for this edition: Mathias Malzieu, singer of Dionysos and poet, Lily Bay, sensitive and committed author, Nathalie Mauclair, Sarthois adventurer, and Mathou, illustrator known for her tender and humorous drawings. In total, over 200 authors were present, including 50 in children's literature and 30 in comics/manga.
An Open-Air Literary Trail
On Place des Jacobins, general literature, novels, and essays. On Place de la République, youth literature, comics, American comics, and manga. In between, the Rue du Livre connected the spaces in a festive atmosphere. Admission was completely free.
