The grand return to the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville

After three years of absence due to redevelopment work, Roanne's Christmas village made its grand return to the new Place de l'Hôtel de Ville for the 2025 edition of Festi'Noël. From December 12, 2025, to January 3, 2026, the square was transformed into a magical setting with its light bulbs, suspended garlands, and LED starry sky.

An ice rink and a gourmet village

At the foot of the large Christmas tree, the 200 m² outdoor ice rink operated by Glisse Glace was the main attraction of this edition, offered at €6 per session. About ten chalets offered visitors sweets, hot dishes, crepes, tartiflette, hot drinks, and gift ideas. Association chalets and a farmers' market complemented the offerings on the Charles-de-Gaulle street side.

Unforgettable shows and entertainment

The kickoff was on Friday, December 12th, at 6:15 PM with the wandering show "Le Bal" by the company Remue-Ménage through the pedestrian streets. Three professional companies then animated the streets with two daily 45-minute performances: International Show Parade on December 20th, the Brigade Animalière du Père Noël by the company Okazoo on December 21st, and "Supplément Chantilly" by the company eliXir on December 24th.

On Friday, December 19th, at 7 PM, a free Christmas Party transformed the square into a giant dance floor hosted by DJ Santa, in partnership with RTU and the sports department. The Soupe des Chefs, offered at €3 per bowl for the benefit of local associations, accompanied the launch of the opening evening.

Magic in the neighborhoods

From December 6th, entertainment spread throughout the neighborhoods: arrival of Saint Nicholas on the banks of the Loire, the show Teuf Teuf Circus in the Parc neighborhood, Santa Claus's visit to the Arsenal with the show by Bastien Lévy, carriage rides, and Christmas tales in Mulsant, magic and enchantment in Clermont. STAR buses were free every weekend with extended hours on the three Sundays before Christmas.
