From November 4 to 21, 2025, the 21st edition of the Festival Augenblick unfolded its program in 46 cinemas and screening venues throughout the Grand Est region. With 44 feature films and 18 short films selected, the festival offered a rich and varied panorama of contemporary German-language cinema, from auteur dramas to documentaries, animation, and genre films.
In total, 1,166 screenings were organized, attracting 62,176 spectators—an attendance that testifies to the affection of the Alsatian and Lorraine public for this unique cinematic event. The opening nights in Strasbourg and the screenings in the cinemas of Mulhouse, Colmar, and smaller towns confirmed the festival's exceptional territorial reach.
