Caillou Costaud #7: two days of celebration in the streets of Pierrefort

The 7th edition of the Caillou Costaud Festival took place on July 12th and 13th, 2025 in the streets of the village of Pierrefort. True to its winning formula, the festival offered a full weekend combining sport, music, and conviviality in the heart of Cantal.

Saturday was marked by the famous soapbox race with a brand new course, followed from the late afternoon by a series of concerts in the upper village. LGMX and their electrifying brass, the Orchestre National du Cholao and their inimitable Latin groove, Skarra Mucci and his reggae-dancehall flow, Spoink and their raw energy, and then DJ Abal2bal heated up the night until the final ball.

Sunday had a more family-friendly atmosphere with numerous activities for all ages: face painting, temporary tattoos, old and new games, climbing, slacklining, kite making, and circus workshops. The concert by Fish n'Frites at 1 p.m. in the Place de l'église concluded the festival with music.
