The 16th edition of the Ciné Fête festival took place from July 24 to 30, 2024, at the Cinéma Scoop in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon. Under the theme "From resistances to dialogue, from yesterday to today", the festival offered an intense week of screenings, debates, and meetings.

Theme: Women's perspectives

The 2024 edition highlighted women's perspectives on French, Italian, and Indian societies, exploring female struggles and forms of resistance through cinema. Documentaries related to local history and films from countries facing dramatic situations completed the program.

• Wednesday, July 24, 7:00 PM: Opening with "Joséphine Baker, a French destiny" and a meeting with Laurent Kupferman
• Friday, July 26, 6:00 PM: Tribute to Agnès Varda — reading of the text "Je suis été" by Catherine Monin, followed by the screening of the documentary Les Plages d'Agnès
• Friday, July 26, 9:00 PM: Les Gens d'à côté by André Téchiné, followed by a debate with critic Frédéric Mercier
• Saturday, July 27, 6:00 PM: Reading by Lorraine Wiss, followed by Maria by Jessica Palud at 7:00 PM
