15 Years of the Festival and 40 Years of the Chorale des Gabariers
The 2025 edition of the Val'Dordogne Choral Festival was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Le Turenne cinema in Argentat-sur-Dordogne. This edition celebrated a double anniversary: the 15th anniversary of the festival and the 40th anniversary of the Chorale des Gabariers, founded in 1985.
Over 100 choristers from regional and local choirs gathered for an afternoon and evening of choral singing in a festive and convivial atmosphere. The program mixed gospel, vocal jazz, classical and sacred music, French variety, and traditional Limousin songs, offering a diversity of styles and emotions. Free admission allowed everyone to share this moment of celebration of choral art in the Dordogne valley.
