Edition 2025 — Arts and Crafts Murat
The 12th edition of the Murat Arts and Crafts Festival was held from August 2nd to 4th, 2025, in the historic center of the medieval town. Around forty artisans from across France presented their creations, offered skill demonstrations, and hosted workshops in the streets, squares, and heritage buildings of Murat.
12th Murat Arts and Crafts Festival
For its 12th edition, the Murat Arts and Crafts Festival welcomed around forty selected artisans from across France from August 2nd to 4th, 2025, in the historic center of this medieval town labeled City of Arts and Crafts.
Visitors could discover a wide variety of crafts spread across the town's emblematic locations: Halle de Murat, Maison paroissiale, Salle d'honneur de la Mairie, Place du Balat, Place Marchande, and Place du Planol. Leatherworkers, cutlers, woodturners, weavers, ceramicists, glassblowers, jewelers, basket makers, and many other artisans presented their collections and demonstrated their skills.
Among the highlights of this edition were the presence of a Meilleur Ouvrier de France in glassblowing and numerous participatory workshops open to the public and children, allowing them to discover and learn the gestures of the crafts.

- Saturday, August 2nd: Opening from 10 AM to 7 PM - Exhibitions and demonstrations in all festival venues
- Sunday, August 3rd: From 10 AM to 7 PM - Demonstrations, participatory workshops, meetings with artisans
- Monday, August 4th: From 10 AM to 6 PM - Final day, workshops, and demonstrations
