Edition 2025 — Italian Film Festival of Villerupt

The 48th edition of the Villerupt Italian Film Festival was held from October 24 to November 11, 2025. Over 70 films were screened in 250 sessions across six venues. Director Andrea Segre was honored and received the Amilcar Award of the City of Villerupt. The retrospective for this edition focused on Venice through cinema, notably featuring Visconti's Death in Venice and Fellini's Casanova.

48th Edition — October-November 2025

The 48th edition of the Villerupt Italian Film Festival took place from October 24 to November 11, 2025, offering over 70 films in 250 screenings across six venues located in Villerupt, Audun-le-Tiche, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Dudelange.

Tribute to Andrea Segre

Filmmaker Andrea Segre was the guest of honor for this edition. He received the Amilcar Award of the City of Villerupt during the awards ceremony on Friday, November 7, at L'Arche. Four of his films were screened during the festival, including Berlinguer, la grande ambizione.

Venice Retrospective

The thematic retrospective was dedicated to Venice in Cinema, featuring about ten classic and contemporary films exploring the city of the Doges, from Luchino Visconti's Death in Venice to Federico Fellini's Casanova, as well as recent works offering a more social perspective on the city.
