31st Edition — October 2025
The Jean Carmet Festival celebrated its 31st edition from October 8 to 14, 2025, at the CGR cinema in Moulins. After crossing the symbolic milestone of 30 years in 2024, this new edition continued the festival's founding mission: to highlight the talent of supporting actors and discover the young hopes of French-speaking cinema.
The Supporting Roles Competition featured a selection of recent feature films, while the Young Talent Competition showcased about fifteen short films. The Prisoners' Prize, awarded by the inmates of the Moulins-Yzeure central prison, was presented in the short film category.
