Edition 2025 — Ancenis BD
10th edition of the Festival of Illustration and Comics of the Pays d'Ancenis, on March 29 and 30, 2025, at the Espace Édouard Landrain in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon. 43 authors present, about thirty exhibitors, a cosplay contest, exhibitions including drawings from the amateur contest "Rêves de planètes", drawing demonstrations, the awarding of the BD Prize of the Pays d'Ancenis, and a charity auction for Les P'tits Doudous of the Ancenis hospital. Admission: 5 euros, free for under 16s.

10th Edition — March 29 and 30, 2025
The festival celebrated its 10th edition on March 29 and 30, 2025, at the Espace Édouard Landrain in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon. For this symbolic anniversary, 43 authors of comics, illustration, manga, and comics were present, accompanied by about thirty exhibitors (publishers, booksellers, artisan creators).
Program and Activities
The weekend offered a rich and varied program:
- Signings with the 43 authors present throughout the weekend
- Exhibitions showcasing the drawings from the amateur contest "Rêves de planètes"
- Cosplay contest with award ceremony
- Live drawing demonstrations by the invited artists
- Creative workshops for children and adults
- Charity auction on Sunday at 3:30 PM for the benefit of the association Les P'tits Doudous of the Ancenis hospital
- Results of the drawing contest on Sunday at 4:00 PM
- Awarding of the Public Illustration Prize on Sunday at 5:00 PM
The BD Prize of the Pays d'Ancenis
The grand BD Prize of the Pays d'Ancenis, organized in partnership with the Biblio'fil library network, was awarded at this edition. This prize recognizes a work selected and voted for by readers of the libraries in the region throughout the year.
School Interventions
Prior to the festival, artist interventions in schools were organized in conjunction with Sofia Action Culturelle, allowing students to discover the professions of illustration and comics before meeting the authors during the festival weekend.

- Saturday, March 29: Opening at 10:00 AM. Signings, exhibitions, drawing demonstrations, workshops, cosplay contest. Closing at 6:00 PM.
- Sunday, March 30: Opening at 10:00 AM. Signings, activities, charity auction (3:30 PM), drawing contest results (4:00 PM), awarding of the Public Illustration Prize (5:00 PM). Closing at 6:00 PM.
