9th edition: the plants that color our valleys

The 9th edition of the Festival de l'Alpage took place from July 21 to 25, 2025 in Champoléon and the Champsaur-Valgaudemar region. The theme of this edition, “The plants that color our valleys,” guided the entire program.

Each day, participants discovered a different location in the territory, on an unusual walk or guided hike, meeting shepherds, breeders, and mountain plant specialists. Natural dyeing workshops, botanical outings, conferences, and shows punctuated this week rich in discoveries. Local product tastings and farm visits allowed attendees to savor the flavors of the Champsaur region.
