Three Exceptional Patrons for the 16th Edition
The 16th edition of the Festival de la Camargue et du Delta du Rhône took place from May 8 to 12, 2024, with an opening evening on May 7 at 7 PM at the Village de l'Oiseau in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. This edition marked the 120th anniversary of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône and the 20th anniversary of the organizing association.
Three exceptional patrons accompanied this edition: botanist Francis Hallé, known for his fight for primary forests, the four-time kitesurfing world champion Alexandre Caizergues, and writer Erik Orsenna as ambassador. Over 100 nature outings were offered from May 8 to 12 — on foot, by canoe, on horseback, by boat, and by bike — to discover the Camargue in all its facets.
