The 17th Edition Between Photography and Environmental Commitment
The 17th edition of the Festival de la Camargue et du Delta du Rhône took place from May 28 to June 1, 2025, with Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône as the main venue and events spread across Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Arles, and the Gardian Camargue.
Two major exhibitions marked this edition: "Festins de rois" by photographer and freediver Thomas Roger, and "Le boomerang", a report by Collectif Argos on the impacts of climate change. Screenings, masterclasses, conferences, and radio shows addressed various themes: floating offshore wind power in the Mediterranean, the return of the otter in Camargue, and the transformations of deltas worldwide. The Village de l'Oiseau, in the gardens of the Tour in Port-Saint-Louis, hosted exhibitions, activities, and information stands focused on biodiversity.
