Edition 2025 — Cour du Vieux Temple
The 25th anniversary edition of the Festival de la Cour du Vieux Temple took place from August 23 to 29, 2025, in Grenoble. Around fifteen performances were on the program, including "Les Atrides" by Théâtre du risque and "Je te regarde" by the company La Grosse Clique, as well as daily concerts and the traditional "demi-heure de joie."
Festival de la Cour du Vieux Temple - 25th Edition (2025)
The 25th anniversary edition of the Festival de la Cour du Vieux Temple took place from August 23 to 29, 2025, in the historic center of Grenoble. About fifteen performances punctuated this week of theater, balancing tradition and artistic diversity.
The festival opened on Saturday with a free folk dance at 6:30 p.m. hosted by La Rôdeuse, followed at 9 p.m. by the theatrical creation "Je te regarde" by the company La Grosse Clique. Among the highlights were "Les Atrides" by Théâtre du risque, a three-part performance recounting the tragic fate of the most famous family in ancient tragedy, presented on Thursday, August 28. The program also included "Les mots nus" by the company L'axe de création and musical and poetic performances.
Daily concerts enlivened the courtyard from Monday to Friday at 6 p.m., featuring various styles: Brazilian music, afro pop, Anglo-Saxon pop, brass band, and pop-rock.
