2025 Edition

The 18th edition of the Festival of the Crane and Migration took place from October 18 to 26, 2025, at Lac du Der. Organized by LPO Champagne-Ardenne and its partners (Village Musée du Der, French Office for Biodiversity, Train aux Oiseaux, Étang de la Horre Nature Reserve, Forêt d'Orient Regional Natural Park, Étang de Belval Nature Reserve), this edition offered ten days of activities: crane departures and arrivals, observation points, photo exhibitions, bird train, organic fair, children's day, conferences, donkey rides, and birdhouse workshops.

  • Information points on the lake dikes and at the Chantecoq site
  • Bird train departing from Giffaumont-Champaubert (2 PM and 3:30 PM)
