Festival de la Luzège 2025: Fanny, César, and the continuation of Pagnol
The 39th edition of the Festival de la Luzège took place from July 19 to August 17, 2025, with 7 different shows by 4 companies programmed in 24 communes in Corrèze and neighboring departments. The major event of this edition was the creation of Fanny and César, the second and third parts of Marcel Pagnol's Marseillaise Trilogy, thus completing the cycle that began in 2024 with Marius.
The festival also offered a carte blanche to the company CHAMP LIBRE at the Roc du Gour Noir, which presented various artistic proposals. As every year, the system of free and conscious pricing starting at 5 euros allowed all audiences to access the performances, confirming the festival's social and cultural mission. The diversity of performance venues—village squares, barns, castles, natural sites—enriched the theatrical experience and highlighted the heritage of Corrèze.
