Edition 2023 — Festival de Loire

The 11th edition of the Festival de Loire celebrated the event's 20th anniversary from September 20 to 24, 2023. Over 220 boats and 700 boatmen took over the quays of Orléans, attracting more than 600,000 visitors. The Saint Lawrence River (Canada) was the guest of honor, highlighting Quebec's river and maritime heritage and history.

11th Edition - The 20th Anniversary of the Festival de Loire

The Festival de Loire celebrated its 20th anniversary from September 20 to 24, 2023, with an exceptional edition. For this anniversary, the festival took on an international dimension by heading west with the Saint Lawrence River (Canada) as the guest of honor.

Quebec's river navigation, heritage, and rich fluvial and maritime history were presented to the Orléans public through exhibitions, demonstrations, and exchanges between French and Canadian boatmen.
