2025 Edition - August 22 to 24

The 10th edition of the Festival of World Music and Songs took place from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2025 in the church of Saint-Antoine-de-Ficalba. A rich and varied program allowed festival-goers to travel through world music.

Concert Program

  • Friday, August 22 at 9 PM: Lou Barrut - 7 voices and percussion with powerful rhythms, polyphonic melodies from the Occitan Mediterranean tradition, blending traditional, modern, and poetic repertoire.
  • Saturday, August 23 at 4 PM: Jean-Luc Amestoy and Serge Lopez - Accordion and flamenco guitar duo in the church. A meeting between musette and flamenco, between Gascony and Andalusia.
  • Saturday, August 23 at 6 PM: Michalove - Ukrainian-Polish trio composed of two accordionist sisters and a singer-percussionist. Traditional Eastern European polyphonies.
  • Saturday, August 23 at 9 PM: Poor Paddy with Brian and Sean O'Connel accompanied by 3 musicians. Irish evening with traditional and modern songs.
  • Sunday, August 24: Tribu Hipolaïs - Choir of 23 singers performing songs from Occitania, Corsica, Italy, and Bulgaria.

Other Activities

In addition to the concerts, the 2025 edition featured art exhibitions, floral creations, a film screening, and a conference, all with free access.
