Cel'Thiron 2023: Cécile Corbel as Guest of Honor
The 2023 edition of the Cel'Thiron Pentecost Festival took place from May 27 to 29 at the Domaine de l'Abbaye de Thiron-Gardais. The highlight of this edition was the concert by Cécile Corbel, a world-renowned Breton harpist and singer, who performed in the majestic setting of the abbey church on Friday evening to open the festival.
The weekend was marked by the French Highland Games championships, Highland Dance demonstrations, performances by the pipe band Askol Ha Brug, the Scottish medieval village by the Hist'Landers, and the Celtic and artisan market. Family activities, including hobby horse and children's workshops, completed a rich and festive program.
