Edition 2026 — Sports Journalism Festival
The 3rd edition of the Festival of Sports Journalism took place from February 3 to 5, 2026, in Laval, with Didier Deschamps as the guest of honor for an opening masterclass. Approximately 6,000 people attended the 16 programmed events.
2026 Edition - 3rd Edition
The third edition of the Festival of Sports Journalism took place from February 3 to 5, 2026, in Laval, in several iconic venues of the city: the Théâtre de Laval, Cinéville, and the Avant-Scène hall. Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national football team, opened the festival with an exceptional masterclass titled "A Coach Shouldn't Say That," hosted by Vincent Duluc. Sixteen events were scheduled over the three days, notably celebrating the 80th anniversary of the newspaper L'Équipe, the 70th anniversary of France Football, the 50th anniversary of Stade 2, the epic of the Verts of Saint-Étienne, the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games, the 2006 final, and the great moments of rugby and motorsport. Approximately 6,000 people participated in the various encounters, confirming the festival's growing momentum.
