Edition 2025 — Festival de Sablé

The 47th edition of the Festival de Sablé, dedicated to Jean-Sébastien Bach, was held from August 20 to 23, 2025. Four days of recitals and concerts brought together renowned performers in the heritage sites of Sablé-sur-Sarthe, with the recreation of "Que ma joie demeure" by Béatrice Massin to open the festival.

47th Edition — Bach in the Spotlight

The 2025 edition of the Festival de Sablé celebrated Jean-Sébastien Bach in all his facets. The festival opened with choreographer Béatrice Massin and the recreation of her piece Que ma joie demeure, a jubilant dialogue between revisited baroque dance and Bach's music.

Guest Artists

For four days, Sablé-sur-Sarthe resonated with the rhythm of intimate recitals and masterful concerts led by talented performers: countertenor Carlo Vistoli, viol player Salomé Gasselin, violinist Louise Ayrton, flutist Héloïse Gaillard, harpsichordist Bertrand Cuiller, as well as the ensembles Fêtes Galantes, La Sportelle, Le Caravensérail, and the Romain Leleu Sextet.

Kora player Mamadou Dramé and soprano Céline Scheen also contributed to this edition rich in discoveries.
