Edition 2025 — Festival de Saint-Céré
The 45th edition of the Festival de Saint-Céré took place from July 27 to August 9, 2025, with the premiere of Handel's Rinaldo at the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux, directed by Claire Dancoisne and conducted by Bertrand Cuiller, as a highlight.
45th edition - Rinaldo premiere
The 2025 edition of the Festival de Saint-Céré was marked by the outdoor premiere of Handel's Rinaldo at the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux, on August 1st, 3rd, and 5th. This production, directed by Claire Dancoisne and conducted by Bertrand Cuiller with the orchestra Le Caravansérail, featured the countertenor Paul Figuier in the title role.
The program also included a recital by Éléonore Pancrazi (July 28th), an outdoor screening of La Fille du Régiment (July 29th), a musical show about Stephen Sondheim (July 31st), a Beethoven evening with the Quatuor Fidelio (August 6th), Vivaldi's Four Seasons by the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse (August 8th), and a rock organ concert (August 9th).
This edition inaugurated a new partnership with La co[opéra]tive, confirming the festival's commitment to contemporary opera creation and support for young artists.
