43rd Edition of the Festival de Saint-Lizier
The 43rd edition of the Festival de Saint-Lizier took place from August 2 to 10, 2024, in the Saint-Lizier Cathedral and other venues in the Couserans region. The program offered a rich musical journey between "art" music and "popular" music. The Sirine Choir of Moscow opened the festival with a concert of Russian sacred music, followed by pianist Cristina Ortiz, violinist Laurent Korcia, and the Paul Lay Jazz Trio. Concerts were also held at the Chalet de Beauregard in Guzet and the Cave Le Chai in Montégut-Plantaurel.
