34th Edition: Three Days to Celebrate Books and Their Craftspeople

The 34th edition of the Angles-sur-l'Anglin Book Festival took place from August 15 to 17, 2025, in the upper town of the village, from 9 AM to 7 PM. Nearly 80 exhibitors—antique booksellers, second-hand booksellers, publishers, and book craftspeople—took over the square, streets, and market square. About twenty authors presented and signed their works, while engravers, illuminators, binders, and caricaturists offered demonstrations of their skills.

The program included puppet shows, storytelling, musical readings, "Garden Talks", and various concerts mixing chanson, accordion, Cuban, Balkan, swing, and gypsy jazz music. Admission was completely free.
