Edition 2025 — Book Festival
The 36th edition of the Colmar Book Festival was held on November 22 and 23, 2025, at the Parc des Expositions, under the theme "Au bonheur des mots" (The Joy of Words). With American writer Douglas Kennedy and novelist Raphaëlle Giordano as guests of honor, the festival brought together over 200 stands and hundreds of authors for two days of free literary encounters.
36th Edition — The Joy of Words
On November 22 and 23, 2025, the Parc des Expositions in Colmar hosted the 36th edition of the Book Festival, themed "Au bonheur des mots". The godmother of this edition, novelist Raphaëlle Giordano, and the guest of honor, American writer Douglas Kennedy, contributed to the renown of this major literary event.
Over 200 stands from publishers, booksellers, and cultural organizations welcomed visitors in a warm and festive atmosphere. Hundreds of authors were present for signing sessions, conferences, round tables, and workshops. The youth area offered storytelling, shows, and creative activities for the younger ones. Lectures on Alsatian history, musical performances, and a cosplay contest completed a rich and eclectic program.
