2024 Edition: "The Earth" as a guiding theme

The 2024 edition of the Festival des à-côtés took place from November 8 to 10 in Lyons-la-Forêt, centered around the theme "The Earth". This theme guided the film selection, exploring the relationship between humans and their environment, rural life, agriculture, landscapes, and ecology through unique cinematic perspectives.

Two days of screenings punctuated the program, followed by meetings with directors who came to present their films and engage with the audience. The vernissage of an artist's exhibition—painter, sculptor, or photographer—opened the festivities. The young audience workshops for animation and stop-motion film creation allowed children to become creators, with their works screened during the festival.
