Edition 2025 — Festival des Cabanes
10th Edition: A Decade of Huts Between Lake and Mountains
For its tenth anniversary, the Festival des Cabanes presented an ambitious commemorative edition with 13 ephemeral huts scattered across 7 towns in the Sources du lac d'Annecy area, from July 1st to November 15th, 2025. This edition celebrated a decade of architectural creations in local wood, and encounters between international architects and local craftspeople.
Among the new features of this anniversary edition, a hut was installed in the Parc Simon Berger to offer greater accessibility for people with reduced mobility. The discovery trail continued to connect remarkable sites in the south of Lake Annecy: lake shores, the banks of the Eau Morte river, forest paths, and mountain pastures.
