The Festival des Hautes Terres celebrates its 25th anniversary
For its 25th edition, the Festival des Hautes Terres celebrated a quarter-century of mountain cultures on June 27, 28, and 29, 2025, in the historic center of Saint-Flour. This emblematic event of the region showcases traditional cultures and world sounds through a festive and intergenerational program.
Concerts, balls, a market of flavors and crafts, and street performances marked a weekend dedicated to discovery and sharing. The Place d'Armes hosted the headliner concerts, while the balls took place under the large trees of the Allées, notably featuring the duo Capel-Lopez + L'Arlésienne for a trad-swing ball with colors of Auvergne, Quercy, and Gascony starting Friday evening.
The Esplanade Georges Pompidou hosted the market of mountain flavors and crafts, the luthiers and know-how area, as well as the mountain literature area. Traditional dance workshops and roaming bands animated the streets of the upper town throughout the weekend.
