2025 Edition — Prestige of the Voice

For its 8th edition, the Escales en Musique festival placed the human voice at the heart of its program. From August 21 to 24, 2025, concerts and encounters took place in the villages of Giromagny, Auxelles-Haut, and Rougemont-le-Château, at the foot of Ballon d'Alsace.

Actress Marie-Christine Barrault accepted the role of godmother, lending the festival an additional literary and theatrical dimension. Among the highlights: an interpretation of Franz Schubert's Winterreise, performances by Serge Kakudji (countertenor), and the oriental textures of oud player Ihab Radwan. The 'pay-what-you-want' artist meet-and-greets allowed all audiences to interact with the musicians in intimate settings.
