Eurochestries in Deux-Sèvres Festival

2024 Edition — 130 Musicians, 34 Free Concerts

From July 4th to 11th, 2024, the Eurochestries in Deux-Sèvres Festival hosted nearly 130 young musicians from Europe, North America, and Central America. 34 free concerts were scheduled in the municipalities of Niort Agglo, including six in the city of Niort itself.

On Saturday, July 6th, festival-goers could attend several concerts at Niort's Hôtel de Ville (at 2 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3 PM) and on the forecourt of the Moulin du Roc (at 4 PM, 4:30 PM, and 8:30 PM), all with free admission. The grand international symphony concert of closing was held on Tuesday, July 9th at 8:30 PM at the Moulin du Roc, with an entrance fee of 12 euros.

From July 4th to 8th, the orchestras toured the municipalities of the Niort agglomeration to offer recitals in community halls, churches, and outdoor spaces, continuing the tradition of a festival deeply rooted in rural life.
