Edition 2024 — Festival Impromptu

9th edition of 'Musiques sur un Plateau'. Four concerts between July and August 2024 in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon and Mazet-Saint-Voy, featuring the Quatuor Onslow performing Reicha, Mozart, and Beethoven, Francis Laffon in reportage songs accompanied by Alexandre Delprat and Amos Mâh, a piano-violin duo around César Franck by Xavier Lecomte de la Bretonnerie and Darina Maleeva, and a romantic recital by Tristan Pfaff dedicated to Chopin and Liszt.

Opus 9 — Musiques sur un Plateau 2024

The 9th edition of 'Musiques sur un Plateau' featured four concerts between July 18 and August 5, 2024, offering a musical panorama between classical, romanticism, and French chanson.

Program

The festival opened on Thursday, July 18 at 8:30 PM at the temple of Mazet-Saint-Voy with the Quatuor Onslow, in a program titled 'Vienna 1815' dedicated to works by Anton Reicha, Mozart, and Beethoven.

On Tuesday, July 30, the Salle du Calibert hosted Francis Laffon, a former journalist turned singer-songwriter, for a 'reportage songs' concert accompanied by Alexandre Delprat on piano and Amos Mâh on cello and guitar.

On Thursday, August 1, the temple of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon resonated with the sounds of Xavier Lecomte de la Bretonnerie and Darina Maleeva in a program 'around César Franck' for piano and violin, celebrating the release of their new album.

The festival concluded on Monday, August 5 at 8:30 PM at the temple of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon with a romantic recital by Tristan Pfaff, dedicated to Chopin and Liszt.
