Laroquebrou International Boogie-Woogie Festival

25th Edition: An Exceptional Program

For this 25th anniversary edition, the Laroquebrou International Boogie-Woogie Festival offered an exceptional program from August 6th to 10th, 2025. Over 70 artists from around the world gathered in the small Cantal village to celebrate boogie-woogie in all its forms.

The 2025 edition was marked by the first-time appearance of three major American artists: Deanna Bogart (pianist, saxophonist, and singer), Eden Brent (pianist and singer from Mississippi), and Arthur Migliazza (boogie-woogie pianist). The festival also hosted renowned European artists such as Martin Schmitt, Lluis Coloma, Frank Muschalle, Richie Loidl, and Lasse Ebbeskov Jensen.

2025 Program

• Wednesday, August 6th: Preview evening in Maurs with Sébastien Troendlé and his guests Patrick Smet (Belgium), Charlie Olympe (USA), and Jared Nandra (England).
• Thursday, August 7th: Evening at the gymnasium starting at 9 PM. Julien Brunetaud in duo with Frank Muschalle (Germany), followed by the Barcelona Big Blues Band (12 musicians).
• Friday, August 8th: Evening at the gymnasium with major international boogie, swing, and blues bands.
• Saturday, August 9th: Evening at the gymnasium starting at 9 PM. Piano trio with Philippe Nicolas "Zébulon" (France), Katharina Alber (Austria), and Richie Loidl (Austria). Boogie dance show and jam session.
• Sunday, August 10th: Street Bones at the Rouget Market, Happy Hours, show for young audiences, gospel concert with Joyful Echoes Quartet, grand closing ball with Cat & The Mint.
