Edition 2025 — Alpe d'Huez Comedy Film Festival
The 28th edition of the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival was held from January 13 to 18, 2025. Chaired by Elsa Zylberstein, the jury awarded the comedy 'Avignon' by Johann Dionnet, triple winner with the Grand Prix, the Canal+ Prize, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region Audience Favorite Prize. Benjamin Lavernhe received the Best Actor Award, and Hélène Vincent and Juliette Gasquet shared the Best Actress Award.
28th Edition - The Triumph of 'Avignon'
The 28th edition of the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival took place from January 13 to 18, 2025, once again bringing together filmmakers, actors, and comedy lovers in the heart of the Isère resort. The feature film jury, chaired by actress Elsa Zylberstein, included Gustave Kervern, Noémie Saglio, Ken Scott, Izia Higelin, and Tom Leeb.
The comedy 'Avignon' by Johann Dionnet dominated the awards, winning three major prizes: the Grand Jury Prize, the Canal+ Jury Prize, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region Ski Instructor Jury Audience Favorite Prize. This first feature film captivated both the jury and the audience with its humor and freshness.
The Special Jury Prize was awarded to 'Les Règles de l'art' by Dominique Baumard, while the Audience Award went to 'Le Répondeur' by Fabienne Godet. The Best Actor Award went to Benjamin Lavernhe for his role in 'Le Mélange des genres' by Michel Leclerc, and the Best Actress Award was given ex-aequo to Hélène Vincent and Juliette Gasquet for 'On ira' by Enya Baroux. A special mention from the jury was given to 'L'Amour, c'est surcoté' by Mourad Winter.
In the short film category, the award went to 'Des doigts en or' by Chryssa Florou, confirming the festival's ability to spot emerging talents in all formats of cinematic comedy.
