13th edition — Eros in the feminine (October 18-19, 2025)
For its 13th edition, the International Festival of Women's Writings has chosen to explore the theme of 'Eros in the feminine': desire, pleasure, and sexualities seen through the prism of emancipatory writings by women, from the Middle Ages to the present day. From Louise Labé to Annie Ernaux, including Virginie Despentes, the 2025 edition highlighted voices that dared to name the female body, desire, and pleasure in a literature long dominated by the male gaze.
The program brought together more than 25 speakers, including Hélène Aldeguer, Alice Béja, Cécile Berly, Sarah Chiche, and Amandine Dhée. Highlight of the edition: an original reading by Coraly Zahonero, a member of the Comédie-Française, dedicated to the work of Grisélidis Réal, an emblematic figure of erotic and activist literature. Round tables, interviews, and conferences followed one another in the Orangerie hall from Saturday 10 AM to Sunday 5 PM, before a large audience.
