The 62nd Edition of the Bach Festival
The 62nd edition of the Jean-Sébastien Bach International Festival took place from July 27th to August 4th, 2024 at the Collegiate Church of Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse. The program featured crossovers between baroque dance and hip-hop, carte blanche for regional amateur ensembles with the Ensemble Instrumental Tournon-Tain, pianists Brice Martin and Sophie Charmasson, and the Chorale La Tarentelle, as well as a tribute to early forms with Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin performed by pianist Philippe Bianconi.
