Festival International de Trompes de France

2024 Edition - Saint-Martin-Valmeroux

The Festival International de Trompes de France returned to Saint-Martin-Valmeroux for its 2024 edition, from August 30 to September 1. Around 500 horn players gathered in this typical Cantal village for a weekend dedicated to the hunting horn.

On Friday evening, a grand opening concert was held on the esplanade of the gymnasium, under a 500 m² marquee. On Saturday, the French and international championships competitions took place throughout the day, combining contests and events in the village. On Sunday morning, the traditional Saint-Hubert mass was celebrated at 11 am, followed by events in the afternoon.

An exhibitor village completed the program, with stands dedicated to hunting, venery, and rural traditions. Catering was provided at the gymnasium by the caterer Benet, offering local specialties.

2024 Program

• Friday, August 30: Opening concert at the gymnasium esplanade starting at 7:30 pm, followed by dinner
• Saturday, August 31: French and international championships all day, events in the village, exhibitor village
• Sunday, September 1: Saint-Hubert mass at 11 am, events and award ceremony in the afternoon
