Les Bruits de la Tête #4

The 4th edition of the Les Bruits de la Tête Festival took place from July 4th to 6th, 2025 on the high plateaus of Cézallier, in Marcenat. A rich and eclectic program offered a variety of musical discoveries in unusual locations: church, forest, and open-air settings.

Cocanha made the audience dance with their Occitan polyphonic songs. The trio Les Dryades presented a selection of baroque music in the exceptional acoustics of the Marcenat church. Quebecois artist Tom Jacques immersed the audience in new sonic territories through his motorized installations. The Malagasy musicians of Mitsaitsaiky introduced the virtuosic and enchanting groove of tsapiky.

The festival also hosted the local fanfare Circuit-Court, a site-specific creation by the ensemble Liken in the forest, the mutant trumpet of Timothée Quost, and a creation bringing together young musicians from the Hautes Terres music school and the IME of Saint-Flour.
