Edition 2025 — Les Grandes Marées
The 6th edition of the Les Grandes Marées festival was held on August 7, 2025, on the quays of the port of L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer. Five sea shanty groups from Vendée, Charente-Maritime, and Landes performed on stage from 5 PM to 11 PM, hosted by Jean-Marc Desbois, in a festive and convivial atmosphere.

6th Edition - August 7, 2025
The 6th edition of the Les Grandes Marées festival took place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, on the quays of the port of L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer. From 5 PM to 11 PM, five sea shanty groups from Vendée, Charente-Maritime, and Landes made the audience vibrate in a festive and maritime atmosphere.
The evening was hosted by Jean-Marc Desbois, a connoisseur of the sea shanty tradition, who contextualized each performance and encouraged the audience to join in singing the refrains. The bar, crêpes, and waffles fueled the festival-goers between sets, and the raffle crowned the evening in good spirits.
