Edition 2025 — Les Sensationnelles
The 6th edition of the Les Sensationnelles Festival took place from June 27 to July 6, 2025, in Sens. Five concerts brought together top artists at the Théâtre Municipal and Basilique Saint-Savinien, including violinist Liya Petrova, the Hermès Quartet, the Klarthe Wind Quintet, pianist Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, and violinist Pierre Fouchenneret accompanied by the Orchestre Consuelo conducted by Victor Julien-Laferrière.

6th Edition – June 27 to July 6, 2025
The sixth edition of the Les Sensationnelles Festival brought together the best of the French and international young classical music scene for ten days in the historic venues of Sens. Five concerts punctuated this exceptional week, each preceded by a public dress rehearsal.
2025 Edition Concerts
- June 27 at 8 PM – Théâtre Municipal: Adam Laloum and Jonas Vitaud, piano four-hands (Brahms, Debussy, Stravinsky)
- June 29 at 5 PM – Basilique Saint-Savinien: Thaïs Rai-Westphal (soprano), Jonas Vitaud (piano), Lucien Julien-Laferrière (narration) – Family concert (ages 8+), mélodie and lied
- July 1 at 8 PM – Théâtre Municipal: Liya Petrova (violin), Victor Julien-Laferrière (cello), Jean-Frédéric Neuburger (piano) – Shostakovich, Beethoven
- July 3 at 8 PM – Basilique Saint-Savinien: Hermès Quartet – Mozart: Quartet K 421, Webern: Langsamer Satz, Beethoven: Quartet No. 16 Op. 135
- July 6 at 5 PM – Théâtre Municipal: Pierre Fouchenneret (violin), Orchestre Consuelo, conducted by Victor Julien-Laferrière – Brahms: Violin Concerto Op. 77, Beethoven: Symphony No. 3 “Eroica”
