30th Edition: An Anniversary Celebrated in Grand Style
The Léz'arts de la Rue festival celebrated its 30th edition on August 14th and 15th, 2025, marking three decades of street performance in the medieval alleys of Marcolès. An exceptional anniversary for this popular and free event in Cantal.
The festivities began on Thursday, August 14th, with a barbecue evening followed by a concert by the band Devil's Joke, creating a festive atmosphere in prelude to the main day.
On Friday, August 15th, the day started with the traditional tripoux meal from 8 a.m. in the multi-purpose hall, followed by children's games from 10 a.m. From noon onwards, performing arts companies took over the town, the schoolyard, and the sports field, offering shows for all ages throughout the afternoon, accompanied by musical entertainment, fairground stalls, and on-site catering.
