Festival Magdalena Albi 2025 — “Inside – Outside”

From September 26 to 28, 2025, the Maison de Quartier Cantepau in Albi hosted the 2025 edition of the Festival Magdalena, themed “Inside – Outside”. For three days, women artists from several countries transformed this ordinary community space into an extraordinary creative venue.

The theme of this edition—boundaries, thresholds, passages between inside and outside—fueled diverse and complementary artistic proposals: site-specific performances, physical theater shows, contemporary dance creations, and artist talks. The festival maintained its reputation for artistic excellence while remaining deeply accessible to the Albi public and visitors who came specifically for the event.

This edition is part of the long history of the The Magdalena Project network, which celebrates nearly forty years of existence in 2025, and reaffirms Albi's role as a partner city for this international network dedicated to women in the performing arts.
