21st edition: the Vauban citadel celebrates
The 21st edition of the Fête Médiévale de Briançon took place from June 27 to 29, 2025, in the Vauban citadel. The inauguration was on Saturday at 10:30 AM, followed by a weekend full of medieval entertainment.
The medieval market took over Place Vauban with artisans and merchants from the era. The portcullis descents, an emblematic moment of the festival, occurred on Saturday at 5 PM and Sunday at 11:45 AM and 4:45 PM. Artist troupes from France and Italy offered shows, parades, and entertainment throughout the weekend. The medieval tavern and refreshment stands welcomed visitors for convivial meals.
