17th Medieval Festival of Désaignes (2025) — Minstrels and Troubadours
On August 9 and 10, 2025, the 17th edition of the Medieval Festival took over the fortified village of Désaignes, themed around minstrels and troubadours for a friendly and immersive experience.
The program featured jousting demonstrations, European Historical Martial Arts, equestrian shows, historical and humorous street theater, archery initiations, medieval storytellers, and medieval music concerts.
The craft market brought together artisans of medieval art. The tavern and the traditional roasted pig fed the festival-goers, while the fire shows on Saturday evening concluded this edition in style in the illuminated village streets.
