The 28th edition of the Medieval Festival of Dourdan was held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, around the medieval castle. Knight tournaments, falconry demonstrations, a craft market with 70 exhibitors, fire shows, medieval dances, and music brought together over 20,000 visitors. Admission entirely free.

28th Edition of the Medieval Festival of Dourdan — May 31 and June 1, 2025
The 28th edition of the Medieval Festival of Dourdan plunged the town into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages on May 31 and June 1, 2025. Artisans, troubadours, knights, and dancers took over the streets of the historic center and the surroundings of the castle for two days of festive and free medieval reenactment.
2025 Program
- Knight Tournaments: equestrian jousts and foot combat in authentic armor
- Falconry: free-flight demonstrations with eagles, falcons, and hawks
- Medieval Market: 70+ artisans (potters, glassblowers, illuminators, bookbinders)
- Fire Shows: Saturday evening
- Musical Entertainment: troubadours, medieval songs, dances, and ball
- Medieval Meal in the town's market hall
