Edition 2024 — Médiéval des Ducs de Bourbon
2024 edition of the Festival Médiéval des Ducs de Bourbon in Montluçon. Three days of medieval celebration with around 200 artists on the castle esplanade and in the streets of the medieval city: knights, troubadours, fire-eaters, falconers, and artisans.
2024 Edition: The Medieval City Comes Alive
The Festival Médiéval des Ducs de Bourbon animated the medieval city of Montluçon from July 5 to 7, 2024. For three days, around 200 artists took over the esplanade of the Château des Ducs de Bourbon and the streets of the old town, offering over 35 hours of shows.
Knights in armor, troubadours, jugglers, fire-eaters, falconers with their free-flying birds of prey, artisans at work, and musicians of ancient music created an immersive medieval atmosphere. The festive banquet and the parades in period costumes completed this dive into the Montluçon Middle Ages.
