22nd edition: puppetry in all its forms
The 22nd edition of the World Festival of Puppet Theatres took place from September 15 to 24, 2023. More than 80 companies from 30 countries presented performances in 44 venues across the city, attracting over 150,000 spectators. The program explored all forms of contemporary puppetry: string puppets, glove puppets, rod puppets, shadow theatre, object theatre, digital puppetry, and hybrid forms blending dance, circus, and visual arts.
