Edition 2024 — Musique en Vacances
The 29th festival between classical, swing and opera
The 29th edition of the Festival Musique en Vacances took place from July 19 to 28, 2024 in the emblematic venues of La Ciotat. About fifteen concerts punctuated these ten days, offering a musical panorama ranging from the great classical repertoire to jazz, including swing, gospel, and opera.
Among the highlights, the Ensemble Les Virtuoses, conducted by Vadim Tchijik with oboist Marika Lombardi, performed works by Albinoni, Marcello, Bach, and Vivaldi on July 23. The ensemble Les Swing Cockt'Elles presented the show "Et Dieu créa le Swing" on July 22. The group UTAH offered a concert of Soul, Rhythm'n Blues, and Gospel on July 24. The festival's closing, on July 28, was marked by a performance of Mozart's Don Giovanni.
