2025 Edition: Chopin the European
The 59th edition of the Nohant Festival Chopin took place from June 7 to July 23, 2025, under the theme "Chopin the European", exploring the Polish composer's connections with the continent's great musical traditions. With 32 concerts and events, this edition hosted major artists from the international piano scene.
Highlights included recitals by Arcadi Volodos, Rafał Blechacz, Lucas Debargue, Barry Douglas, Dang Thaï Son, Michel Dalberto, and Philippe Bianconi. A tribute to the great pianist Aldo Ciccolini marked the centenary of his birth. Promising young talents such as Sophia Liu, Joseph Moog, and Szymon Nehring were also showcased.
