5th Edition — 150th Anniversary of Impressionism

The 2024 edition of Normandie Impressionniste celebrated the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, marking the year when, in 1874, the first exhibition of the Impressionist group took place in Paris. For this exceptional edition, over 150 projects were presented throughout Normandy over six months.

The major Norman museums—Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen, MuMa in Le Havre, Musée des impressionnismes Giverny—offered major exhibitions, while monumental installations occupied public spaces and Norman landscapes. Live performances, artistic trails, and educational programs completed this unprecedentedly large-scale program.
