8th Edition — July 2025

For its eighth edition, the Festival Notes d'Été à Irancy offered from July 23 to 27, 2025 a particularly rich program, with six concerts spanning a wide musical spectrum. The festival opened the week with a satellite concert at the Abbaye Saint-Germain d'Auxerre on July 11, before taking over the wine village for five exceptional days.

2025 Edition Program

  • July 23 — Evening of explorations and daydreams: a poetic program opening the festival with gentleness
  • July 24 — "From Romanticism to the Roaring Twenties": violin and piano recital with Manon Galy and Jorge Gonzalez
  • July 25 — "Souvenir de Florence" by Tchaikovsky: chamber music with exceptional artists (Manon Galy, Stéphanie Huang, Violaine Despeyroux, Adèle Ginestet)
  • July 26 — Salsa and Latin jazz evening outdoors at Le Lavoir: the grand popular celebration of the edition
  • July 27 — Flute and harp: intimate closing program with free participation

Pianist and co-founder Guillaume Sigier also performed in a notable romantic recital, featuring four Scherzos by Chopin, Sonata No. 2 by Rachmaninov, and excerpts from Schumann's Kreisleriana, on a Shigeru Kawai piano. The Bachtrack review praised the quality of the performance and the intimate atmosphere of the Saint-Germain church, where spectators are seated very close to the musicians.

The Festival Spirit

Each concert was followed by a tasting of Irancy AOC wines, in keeping with the festival's tradition. This 8th edition once again confirmed the vitality of an event that brings together musicians and winemakers in a shared love of beauty, in the heart of an exceptional Burgundian vineyard.
